THE ORIGIN STORY

THE ORIGIN MYTHS FROM THE ELDERS ARE BEING ETCHED IN STONE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN GNARNARWHAL HISTORY. SINCE THE ELDERS’ MEMORY IS EXTREMELY HAZY, RESEARCHERS FORTUITIOUSLY DISCOVERED ANCIENT TEXTS FOUND DEEP WITHIN GNARNIA. THROUGH SLEEPLESS NIGHTS AND TIRELESS EFFORTS, THE TEXT IS BEGINNING TO REVEAL ITS MYSTERIES.

Nestled deep within the Entrashalone Galaxy, there is a planet called Cobblepotinya.  Oceans of water dominate its surface, with numerous islands scattered throughout the vast stretches of blue.  These island oases range from a few square kilometers to hundreds of thousands.  While each island is separated from its neighbors, they are connected by a common element: water.  The water reminds the creatures they are all one.  For every action, there is reaction. 

The seeds of sentience exploded upon this world eons ago.  Every creature on Cobblepotinya received this glorious gift from source.  Grateful and humble, the creatures exercised their intelligence to identify and fill every available niche available on the planet while avoiding competition.  That’s the secret.  These creatures were bestowed with self-awareness simultaneously, and this shared experience brilliantly uncovered the sacred truth: supportive communities are essential for growth.  Without them, we wither away.  Competition is how to survive; cooperation is how to thrive.  The time to thrive is now.

What have these creatures learned?  It begins with partnership.  Collaboration.  Keeping it Gnar.  They coexist.  Their unique and wonderful cultures are respected by all.  To each their own.  This is possible on Cobblepotinya because these beings understand the purpose of existence.  Love.  Tolerance.  Creativity.  Awe.  Wanderlust.  Perseverance.  Empathy. Community. Slurpees. 

One such community living on Cobblepotinya are the GnarNarwhals.  These spiritual beings hail from Gnarnia, previously dispersed from their homeland of Gnarlantis when it was engulfed into the bowels of liquid hot magma under the sea.  It was pretty epic to watch.  Scary, but epic.  The GnarNarwhals are guided by 12 protection stones, which are assigned at birth by The Elders.  These stones influence the GnarNarwhals’ personalities. 

The Elders escaped Gnarlantis with the 12 stone cards, each containing 6 descriptor words.  However, these words are written in an ancient script lost to time.  Faint memories of the 12 stones and their meanings persisted, along with rumors of an elusive 13th stone that was foretold would appear thrice a century.  Unfortunately, libraries of texts were lost when Gnarlantis imploded and much of the GnarNarwhal’s culture was lost along with them. 

Fortuitously, the Elders of Gnarnia discovered ancient tablets deep in the ocean decades ago, etched with mysterious glyphs.  After years of absolutely zero progress, the Elders nearly reached their breaking point.   And then luck struck again!  They stumbled upon the translation key one cloudy and hazy afternoon. 

Now they are ready to share their findings with the world.  The Elders know the stones and the words, but that is just the tip of what’s to come.  The GnarNarwhals stories are waiting to be written.  They are yearning to be shared.  What will you imagine?

The GnarNarwhals V2 is a collection of 8,888 unique NFTs. Each image is randomly composed upon minting from 7 different colors, 12 gemstones, 5 tattoos (or none), 12 eye color combinations, and 2 horn colors.

For rarity, there are 5 different backgrounds: Standard, Silver, Stars, Fractals, Hearts, and Weed Leaves.

For ultra rarity, 6 different Gnar traits will occur randomly. Feeling lucky?

For extreme epic ultra mega Gnar Gnar rarity, three NFTs will receive a mystery stone, giving them mystical powers and magnificent prowess. These GnarNarwharls have transcended the physical realm…they’re basically like Keanu Reeves.

Members are granted non-exclusive copyright ownership of their NFTs to create derivative artworks and expand the GnarNarwhal universe. Use them as you please. The characters have been given six words that describe their personality and unveil their blessing; how will you bring your GnarNarwhal to life?

GnarFam Focused

We support our Members, who are known as the Creatives of the GnarNarwhals Community. We show the love with direct grants, community-funded artist events, promotional support for Creatives, a Creatives Profile Page on the GnarNarwhals website for every Member, as well as guidance for Members wanting to mint their own NFTs to share with the world. Feel the difference in the GnarFam.

GnarFam Wallet

10% 40% of initial sales and 50% of the project’s secondary royalties fund the GnarFam Wallet. These funds are distributed to charities, Creatives’ projects, environmental conservation efforts, and other causes deemed worthy by the GnarNarwhals Community.

GnarFam Support

50% of the Community Wallet Funds will be spent every quarter. Creatives have the opportunity to submit grant proposals, which will be voted on by the other Members. The top three win the dough, and make dreams into reality. Creativity is magical.

Terms and Conditions (the legal stuff)

GnarNarwhals is a collection of digital cartoon avatars (NFTs) swimming on the Polygon network. By minting or purchasing a GnarNarwhal you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Users are responsible for the safety and management of their own private wallets and validating all transactions and contracts. As with any other NFT project on any other blockchain network, our smart contract runs on the Polygon network, and there is no ability to undo, reverse, or restore any transactions.

This website and its connected services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. By using this website you are accepting sole responsibility for any and all transactions involving @gnarnarwhals, The GnarNarwhals Project, or Triple C Solutions, LLC digital collectibles.

OWNERSHIP (GnarNarwhals)


i. You Own the NFT. Each GnarNarwhals is an NFT on the Polygon blockchain. When you purchase an NFT, you own the underlying GnarNarwhals, the Art, completely. Ownership of the NFT is mediated entirely by the Smart Contract and the Polygon Network: at no point may we seize, freeze, or otherwise modify the ownership of any GnarNarwhals.
ii. Personal Use. Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, Triple C Solutions, LLC grants you a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, and display the purchased Art, along with any extensions that you choose to create or use, solely for the following purposes: (i) for your own personal, non-commercial use; (ii) as part of a marketplace that permits the purchase and sale of your GnarNarwhal NFT, provided that the marketplace cryptographically verifies each GnarNarwhals owner’s rights to display the Art for their GnarNarwhals to ensure that only the actual owner can display the Art; or (iii) as part of a third party website or application that permits the inclusion, involvement, or participation of your GnarNarwhals, provided that the website/application cryptographically verifies each GnarNarwhals owner’s rights to display the Art for their GnarNarwhals to ensure that only the actual owner can display the Art, and provided that the Art is no longer visible once the owner of the GnarNarwhals leaves the website/application.

iii. Commercial Use. Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, Triple C Solutions, LLC grants you an unlimited, worldwide license to use, copy, and display the purchased Art for the purpose of creating derivative works based upon the Art (“Commercial Use”). Examples of such Commercial Use would e.g. be the use of the Art to produce and sell merchandise products (T-Shirts etc.) displaying copies of the Art. For the sake of clarity, nothing in this Section will be deemed to restrict you from (i) owning or operating a marketplace that permits the use and sale of GnarNarwhals’ generally, provided that the marketplace cryptographically verifies each GnarNarwhals owner’s rights to display the Art for their GnarNarwhals to ensure that only the actual owner can display the Art; (ii) owning or operating a third party website or application that permits the inclusion, involvement, or participation of GnarNarwhals generally, provided that the third party website or application cryptographically verifies each GnarNarwhals owner’s rights to display the Art for their GnarNarwhals to ensure that only the actual owner can display the Art, and provided that the Art is no longer visible once the owner of the Purchased GnarNarwhals leaves the website/application; or (iii) earning revenue from any of the foregoing.
